Gandia 26 de gener 2017.- El president de la Junta de Districte del Grau, Miguel Ángel Picornell acompanyat per president de la Falla Sant Nicolau Mosquit, Antonio Bermejo, han presentat aquest matí les activitats organitzades per les diferents associacions de la barriada amb motiu del Porrat del Grau i de la Festa de Sant Antoni Abat que se celebrarà els pròxims dies 28 i 29 de gener.
Miguel Ángel Picornell ha destacat tres dels actes que se celebraran durant el cap de setmana. D’una banda, la «crema de la foguera» que tindrà lloc a partir de les 20.00 hores del dia 28 a la plaça Garbí; la benedicció d’animals del dia 29 a partir de les 11 hores i el Porrat gastronòmic que tindrà lloc a la plaça de la Marina de 12.00 a 15.00 hores on participen 11 associacions del districte grauero durant la jornada de diumenge.
El president de la Junta de Districte del Grau, va voler destacar la col•laboració i implicació de les associacions i col•lectius per preparar les diverses activitats i ha explicat que la «crema de la foguera» canviarà d’emplaçament en aquesta edició a petició dels veïns. «El canvi obeïx a una decisió de la Comissió de Cultura i Festes de la Junta de Districte. Quan vaig prendre possessió com a president de la Junta de Districte vaig voler que les comissions tingueren poder de decisió vinculant i han estat ells els que ho decidir».
Per la seua banda, Antonio Bermejo, ha declarat que «per a la falla i els fallers de Sant Nicolau Mosquit, és un honor participar amb el barri i vull agrair a l’ajuntament que ens permeta coordinar l’esdeveniment. Les falles no només són els tres dies de març, també són altres activitats culturals, lúdiques que ajuden a dinamitzar el barri i la ciutat».
