Gandia, 16 de febrer de 2017.- L’Alcaldessa de Gandia, Diana Morant i la regidora de Polítiques Econòmiques i Innovació, Alícia Izquierdo, han donat la benvinguda aquest matí a les 23 persones (peons d’obres, electricistes, llanterners, entrevistadores, una tècnica de turisme, etc…) que es beneficiaran del nou Pla d’Ocupació per als pròxims tres mesos, gràcies a la subvenció d’aproximadament 120.000 € de la Diputació de València.
Per al govern aquesta és una magnífica oportunitat perquè els aturats troben una eixida en el mercat laboral, tan complicat en una ciutat com Gandia, que ha estat castigada, amb duresa, “no sols per la crisi econòmica en el tema de l’ocupació, sinó també per les polítiques de l’anterior govern”.
Així, una de les prioritats de l’Ajuntament és la generació de llocs de treball. “En esta legislatura hi ha 600 persones menys en l’atur i encara ens resta molt per fer. El nostre ajuntament, més enllà de si té o no competències en matèria de lluita contra la desocupació, no pot desentendre’s d’este assumpte. Gràcies el suport de la Generalitat i la Diputació podem desenvolupar programes com aquest”, ha assegurat Morant.
Amb el sanejament dels comptes, el pagament als proveïdors i la posada en marxa del Pla d’Ocupació, el govern assegura que va pel bon camí.
