Gandia, 6 de marzo de 2017.- El Grupo Municipal de Més Gandia en el Ayuntamiento ha querido desmentir las acusaciones del PP sobre la existencia de un partida económica en los presupuestos de 2017 destinada a aportar dinero al Centro de Investigación de Conocimiento para la Administración Local, el CICAL, presidido por el socialista José Manuel Orengo. Desde Más Gandia aseguran que el PP miente y lo que debería hacer, para asesorarse mejor, es preguntar a su militante, Domingo Vayá, diector institucional de la fundación.
La vicealcaldesa y portavoz, Lorena Milvaques, ha recordado que el Ayuntamiento sigue teniendo una situación económica complicada que impide hacia aportación de esas características a fundaciones privadas: «La ciudadanía no entendería que le subimos los impuestos para subvencionar un ente de fines y objetivos tan etéreos «, concluyó.
