València, 26/04/2017. – El PSPV manifiesta su agradecimiento a la alcaldesa de Gandía, Diana Morant, por su labor como diputada provincial y respeta su decisión de centrar ahora todos sus esfuerzos en la ciudad de Gandía. Una decisión que, tal y como han manifestado desde el partido, responde únicamente a una decisión personal.
Los socialistas valencianos lamentan que el PP trate de intoxicar con mentiras sobre la medida tomada por Morant y cuyo único objetivo es desprestigiar la imagen de uno de los jóvenes valores del partido en la Comunitat. Morant es, junto con otros jóvenes alcaldes socialistas valencianos, motor del cambio progresista que, de la mano del Gobierno de Ximo Puig, se está produciendo en la Comunitat. Además, en el Ayuntamiento de Gandía ha impulsado un cambio radical con respecto a la manera de gobernar del Partido Popular y ha conseguido la estabilidad presupuestaria que necesitaba el consistorio.
El PSPV considera responsable la decisión que ha tomado la alcaldesa y coherente con su voluntad de centrar todos sus esfuerzos en la recuperación del prestigio y la estabilidad que una ciudad como Gandía merece y achaca las mentiras del PP al nerviosismo que sufren en el partido ante los continuos casos de corrupción que le acechan.
