El portaveu socialista, José Manuel Prieto: “No hem vingut a decebre a la gent”.

Gandia, 3 de maig de 2017. El portaveu del Grup Municipal Socialista en l’Ajuntament de Gandia, José Manuel Prieto, defén que el resultat de la consulta de Sanxo LLop ha de ser vinculant per als grups municipals tal com ja va dir al Consell de Participació Ciutadana. Eixa és la primera premissa per a seguir abordant una qüestió que els socialistes consideren “molt important” per a la ciutat.
Per a fer una consulta vinculant- ha dit Prieto- “parlaríem d’altres procediments; ja s’ha comentat moltes vegades que per a la vinculació legal de la consulta necessitem l’autorització del ministeri. No parlem d’una vinculació des de l’inici. Parlem de vincular la decisió a la voluntat dels grups polítics una vegada s’haja produït eixa consulta votant en el plenari en el sentit en què es pronuncie la ciutadania en la consulta”.
La pregunta, segons el regidor socialista, és de vital importància per al model de ciutat i “té moltes derivades per al desbloqueig del sector, per a la fi del deute que l’empresa pública té per al desenvolupament urbanístic d’eixe sector, i que a més té altres derivades que la ciutadania ja coneix”.
