El pasado día 3 de Febrero, se celebró en la pista cubierta de Valencia (Lluís Puig) el Campeonato Autonómico de la categoría sub23. En ella se dan cita los mejores atletas menores de 23 años que disputarán el título autonómico y que sirve como preludio al Nacional que se celebrará la semana siguiente en Salamanca.
Judit Prats, atleta especialista en lanzamiento de peso, perteneciente a la AA Catalunya y que entrena en la Escuela de Lanzadores del CC El Garbí a las órdenes de Juanvi Escolano, consiguió una excelente medalla de plata en esta competición. La medalla de oro se fue a Alicante de la mano de Paula Ferrándiz, atleta que lidera el ránking nacional de la categoría, seguida muy de cerca por Judit Prats, lo cual convirtió el Autonómico en una competición de excelente nivel ya que se encontraban las dos mejores atletas de la especialidad.
Judit, que ha cambiado este año de estilo de lanzamiento, sigue mejorando y ajustando su técnica de cara a los campeonatos de Verano, donde espera rendir a gran nivel.
El próximo fin de semana, en Salamanca, se disputará el Nacional, donde intentará luchar por todo ya que las medallas estarán muy apretadas.
