Gandia 28 de novembre 2018.- L’alcaldessa de Gandia, Diana Morant i el regidor delegat de Serveis Bàsics a la Ciutadania, Miquel Àngel Picornell, han comparegut aquest matí en roda de premsa per anunciar que el govern municipal incrementarà en un 33% la partida destinada a la neteja de carrers en realitzar una inversió de 900.000 €.
Diana Morant va afirmar que «fem realitat un compromís gràcies a la gestió responsable i honesta d’aquest govern i l’esforç realitzat pels veïns i veïnes de Gandia. Fruit d’això millorem els serveis de neteja de la ciutat i per tant, els serveis que oferim als veïns».
L’alcaldessa ha recordat que la situació de fallida econòmica de la ciutat a l’inici de la legislatura generava problemes als ciutadans. «Sempre ho hem dit, no pagar als proveïdors d’aquesta ciutat acabava estenent la malaltia econòmica de l’Ajuntament a la ciutat i les empreses» «L’única solució passava per ser transparents i coherents en la resolució de problemes perquè, a mesura que es resolien els problemes, la ciutadania notés les millores».
Sobre el servei de neteja, Morant ha recordat que el deute amb l’empresa a l’inici de la legislatura era de 16 milions d’euros i que les consignacions pressupostàries de la passada legislatura eren inferiors al contracte signat. «El PP mai va tindre la voluntat de pagar el servei que es prestava a la ciutat. Vam haver de reajustar el valor del contracte a la xifra real pressupostada».
«Durant aquesta legislatura hem pagat tot el deute a proveïdors heretat. Un deute de 70 milions d’euros, dels quals 16 es corresponien al servei de neteja. Això ens ha permés recuperar poc a poc la normalitat i poder consignar en els pressupostos del 2018 un augment en la partida per millorar el servei, un increment que consolidarem en els pròxims comptes generals» va afirmar Morant.
D’aquesta manera, l’augment es tradueix en un 33% més en la partida per valor de 900.000 €.
Tal com han explicat Morant i Picornell, aquest increment ha repercutit en més maquinària, més personal de neteja i augment de la freqüència.
Fa dos estius, FCC ja va incorporar nous camions de recollida de fem i el passat estiu va sumar cinc nous vehicles. Ara s’incorporen dues noves hidronetejadores a la flota de l’empresa per millorar el servei de neteja a la ciutat.
«Era de justícia i ja ho vam dir: A mesura que els greus problemes econòmics de la ciutat s’anaren solucionant, la millora econòmica revertiria clarament en la millora dels serbis que s’ofereixen a la ciutadania» va finalitzar l’alcaldessa.
Per la seua banda, Miguel Ángel Picornell ha explicat que la millora consistirà en un augment de la freqüència de pas pels carrers de la ciutat i zones disseminades incorporant mitjans tècnics i humans.ç
«En tot aquest temps, el Departament de Serveis Bàsics ha estat recopilant la informació que ha permés detectar totes les deficiències del servei i estem en condicions de reforçar aquells recorreguts de neteja on és més necessari» va afirmar l’edil.
El servei ampliat contempla diversos eixos d’actuació com són l’augment de l’ús combinat de l’aigua reutilitzada en via pública, reajustaments dels circuits de neteja manual per obtindre unes ràtios de producció més acords amb els estàndards de qualitat, actuacions puntuals amb l’ànim de corregir dèficits de servei que han estat constatats en la gestió del mateix i augment del servei en festius en determinades zones de la ciutat i platja. Una d’aquestes zones serà la plaça Prado i carrers adjacents, com ara, el carrer Bairén.
Picornell ha destacat que aquest augment pressupostari del servei permetrà que tots els carrers de Gandia siguen tractats amb hidronetejadora, almenys una vegada per setmana a més de disposar d’un equip exclusiu per a la platja i d’altres que cobrirà les zones de Venècia, Marenys, Marxuquera i altres zones disperses.
A més, s’incrementa també el servei de recollida de voluminosos amb la incorporació d’una nova dotació que inclou un nou vehicle i augmenta el servei de neteja a pressió mitjançant hidronetejadora amb furgó. Un servei que s’ha demostrat molt eficaç per a zones de contenidors amb brutícia i suport a la neteja manual individual en punts amb voreres tacades.
Finalment, el regidor ha anunciat que «aquesta ampliació de la contracta significa també la incorporació de 4 nous vehicles. Tres hidronetejadores i un vehicle de caixa oberta, per a la recollida de voluminosos. Aquesta maquinària s’anirà incorporant de forma gradual i és independent del previst per al 2019, any en el qual es contemplen l’adquisició d’un vehicle Porter de caixa oberta, una escombradora mecànica model City Cat i 10 bidons per a residus perillosos».
