Gandia 10 de desembre de 2018.- El coportaveu del Govern, Jose Manuel Prieto ha respost aquest matí a les crítiques abocades pel Partit Popular sobre el funcionament de la Taula de Turisme.

Prieto ha afirmat que «una cosa era l’ordene i mane del PP a l’hora de posar en marxa les poques polítiques que es feien abans, i una altra molt diferent és el fòrum de la Mesa de Turisme on hi ha una coparticipació de tots els agents implicats en un sector que és estratègic per a la ciutat» i afegia que «al PP el que pot ser li moleste és que la platja estiguera plena en el pont, que siguem un referent en la gestió del SICTED i un mirall per a altres municipis quan es tracta de parlar de destinacions turístiques intel•ligents que han aconseguit augmentar la competitivitat».
«Més enllà de la Mesa de Turisme, el PP ignora tota la feina que s’està fent diàriament en diferents àmbits d’actuació amb la gent que veritablement sap com són els representants del sector» «Quan un no té propostes, el que ha de fer és deixar treballar al govern municipal i al sector».
