Gandia 11 de febrer 2019.- El coordinador general d’Economia i Hisenda a l’Ajuntament de Gandia, Salvador Gregori ha respost aquest matí en roda de premsa a les crítiques abocades pel Partit Popular en matèria d’economia.

En primer lloc, Gregori ha qualificat d'»absurdes» les crítiques realitzades pel regidor Guillermo Barber.
«No és cap novetat que l’economia del consistori és delicada. Alguna cosa haurà tingut a veure el que hui ha comparegut ací a criticar aquesta situació i que va ser el regidor d’Hisenda durant la passada legislatura».
El coordinador ha recordat que el deute total del consistori es va disparar en 140 milions d’euros durant la passada legislatura. «Són més de 96.000 € diaris de deute dels que es van generar amb el senyor Barber al capdavant de la regidoria d’Economia, tot i que van apujar els impostos un 21%».
En contraposició d’aquestes dades, Gregori ha recordat els informes favorables del Ministeri d’Hisenda i que l’actual corporació ha estat capaç de reduir el deute en prop de 65 milions d’euros.
