El atleta del Club d’Atletisme Safor Delikia Sport Jesús Gomar ganó la XIII Volta a Peu al Verger, disputada el domingo pasado a mediodía sobre una distancia de 10.000 metros. Se trataba de la cuarta prueba puntuable del Circuit a Peu de la Marina Alta y se desarrolló bajo una persistente lluvia. Gomar invirtió un tiempo de 31 minutos y 56 segundos, a un ritmo de 3:12 el kilómetro.
El podio lo completaron Nizar Lakhlifi, también del CA Safor, que fue segundo con 32:59, y Youssef Ahatach (Club Dénia Corre), con una marca de 33:44. Carlos Ferrando, del CA Safor, fue cuarto con un tiempo de 34:01. Por parte del club “groguet” también estuvieron Ricardo Esteban y Tono Boscà. La carrera contó con un total de 470 participantes que desafiaron al mal tiempo.
