• Durant aquests dies s’està enllestint la mostra floral al pati d’Armes del Palau Ducal dels Borja, que es podrà visitar el 21 i 22 d’agost. Es tracta d’una acció conjunta de la Diputació de València, l’Ajuntament de Gandia, l’Associació Nacional de Floristes i els Gremis de Floristes de la Comunitat Valenciana.

Gandia, a 20 d’agost de 2020.- L’Alcaldessa de Gandia, Diana Morant, acompanyada del President de la Mancomunitat de Municipis de la Safor, Voro Femenia, el regidor de Cultura d’Oliva, Julio Llorca, i la representant de l’Associació Nacional de Floristes, Isabela de Zúñiga, ha inaugurat aquest matí la mostra floral “Torna la primavera”, que fins al 22 d’agost es pot visitar al Palau Ducal dels Borja. L’acte ha comptat també amb la presencia del vicealcalde, Josep Alandete, els portaveus del grups municipals a l’Ajuntament de Gandia, així com representants de les Falles i la Setmana Sana de Gandia.
Es tracta d’una iniciativa conjunta de la Diputació de València, l’Ajuntament de Gandia, l’Associació Nacional de Floristes i els Gremis de Floristes de la Comunitat Valenciana, que omplirà de flors aquests dies el pati d’Armes del Palau Ducal.

Hi participen 10 floristes de Gandia i d’altres municipis, com ara Oliva.
Durant els dies 18, 19 i 20 d’agost, les floristes estan decorant el pati d’Armes del Palau i a partir de demà divendres i fins dissabte s’obrirà al públic en general.
“Volem donar suport a un col·lectiu fonamental per a la nostra societat i sustent dels nostres costums i tradicions: els i les floristes. Sense ells, els casaments no serien el mateix; tampoc les Falles, ni la Setmana Santa…, i hauríem de buscar altres fórmules per a dir als nostres estimats que els volem…o que ho sentim… Som molt conscients que aquest sector de la nostra ciutat i comarca, també està patint el malson de la COVID-19, un virus que ens està canviant la vida a totes i cadascuna de les persones. Un virus que també ens va furtar la primavera del 2020. El confinament, la restricció d’horaris o l’anul·lació d’actes per evitar contagis estan afectant l’economia de les vostres famílies. Així, per pal·liar els efectes de la pandèmia i contribuir al fet que la normalitat vertadera siga cada vegada més possible, les Administracions Públiques estem obligades a actuar amb eficàcia i solvència, a escoltar a tots, a donar la mà a tots i a no deixar a ningú arrere en esta travessia que ja està fent-se massa llarga. I això és el que estem fent: deixar-nos la pell cada dia contribuint a la dinamització de la ciutat”, ha explicat l’Alcaldessa.
La Diputació de València, hui enceta també altres exposicions florals a altres municipis, com Benissanó, Paterna o L’Eliana. L’entitat provincial ha impulsat esta iniciativa juntament amb l’Associació Nacional de Floristes i els Gremis de Floristes de la Comunitat Valenciana.

Doncs m’agradaria que esta mostra ens servira per imaginar que més prompte que tard tot tornarà a ser com abans o millor encara”, ha conclòs Morant.
