La justicia no ve pruebas de una inducción a la falsificación de acta del trabajo de fin de estudios de la expresidenta regional
La Audiencia Provincial de Madrid ha absuelto a la expresidente madrileña Cristina Cifuentes del delito de inducción a la falsificación de documentos por el que la fiscalía la pedía tres años y tres meses de prisión. El ministerio público la acusaba de instar a la falsificación del acta del Trabajo de Fin de Máster (TFM) que supuestamente defendió en 2012 en la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC).
En la vista han quedado patentes las diferentes versiones sobre lo ocurrido: mientras la funcionaria Amalia Calonge ha asegurado que cambió las notas de Cifuentes porque se lo pidió el catedrático Pablo Chico de la Cámara, y tenía potestad para ello, el profesor ha sostenido que fue ella la que le advirtió de un posible fallo en su asignatura y ella acabó modificando tanto esa nota como la del trabajo de fin de máster de la expresidenta «de forma arbitraria».
Además varios profesores y funcionarios han testificado que cuando saltó el escándalo el 21 de marzo de 2018 dieron por buenos los testimonios de los profesores Enrique Álvarez Conde -director del Instituto que daba el máster- Pablo Chico y del rector, Javier Ramos, aunque luego detectaron irregularidades en diferentes trámites relacionados con esos estudios.
