Gandia 16 de juny 2017.- L’alcaldessa de Gandia, Diana Morant, ha mostrat la seua satisfacció davant el fet que Trasmediterranea haja decidit ampliar la seua oferta amb la nova línia Gandia-Sant Antoni-Formentera, que es posarà en marxa este mes de juliol. Esta circumstància suposa que la companyia confia que l’enllaç amb les Pitiüses pot consolidar-se.
La bona acollida dels ferris a Sant Antoni, que van començar a operar en Setmana Santa, i que hui mateix han tornat a funcionar per a tota la temporada estival, ha influït en la decisió d’incorporar un nou destí de les Illes Balears al trajecte.
“No paren d’arribar bones notícies a Gandia. Una vegada més, estem d’enhorabona. Esta és una nova aposta empresarial, que demostra que la nostra ciutat genera seguretat i confiança, i que treballa per a dinamitzar l’economia. Quan la relació entre un ajuntament i una empresa privada és excel•lent i quan un ajuntament dóna totes les facilitats perquè les mercantils invertisquen, es nota”, ha assenyalat Morant.
“A Gandia seguirem treballant des del departament de Turisme i en companyia del sector turístic per aprofitar al màxim esta oportunitat que, no sols generarà riquesa i prosperitat en l’àmbit econòmic sinó també obri moltes possibilitats quant a l’intercanvi cultural”, ha argumentat Morant.
La màxima autoritat municipal ha comentat que la unió marítima de dos punts turístics forts (Gandia-Illes Balears) no farà més que reforçar els dos municipis turístics. Per últim, ha agraït novament Trasmediterranea la seua aposta firme i decidida per la capital de la Safor.
