Gandia, 06 de setembre de 2017.- Com ve sent habitual, la regidora de Polítiques Educatives, Laura Morant, ha informat aquest matí de l’inici del curs escolar en Infantil i Primària (on té competències l’Ajuntament). Així, al voltant de 8.000 alumnes han iniciat les classes als centres públics i concertats de la ciutat. No hi ha hagut cap incident destacable i la normalitat ha estat la tònica general a primera hora del matí.
Morant ha destacat la baixada generalitzada de ràtios a les aules, allà on les infraestructures ho permeten, el que afavoreix la qualitat de l’ensenyament. Només al Cervantes i Roís de Corella s’hi ha suprimit una unitat infantil, a causa del descens de la natalitat. Però les unitats són recuperables quan augmente en el nombre d’alumnat.

D’altra banda, des de la Conselleria estan redactant ja el projecte del futur col•legi de les Foies, “i acabar així amb 20 anys de barracots”. En breu s’iniciarà també la redacció del projecte de remodelació i ampliació de l’IES Ausiàs March.
