04 de mayo 2018.- El Grupo Municipal Popular denuncia, una vez más, la lamentable gestión de este gobierno. En este caso el “nuevo” proyecto de la pasarela de la playa del Ahuir, llega con tres años de retraso y la pérdida de un millón de euros de subvención del Ministerio de Medio Ambiente, debido al revanchismo político que viene demostrando este gobierno, a todos los proyectos que se impulsaron la legislatura pasada con el Partido Popular
En 2015 el gobierno del Partido Popular, acordó con el Ministerio de Medio Ambiente, la construcción de una pasarela ecológica, que uniría las poblaciones de Xeraco y Gandia, por la playa del Ahuir, como inicio de un gran proyecto, que era unir el litoral marítimo desde Xeraco hasta Daimuz.
Este acuerdo incluía la cesión de la franja al ayuntamiento así como una subvención de un millón de euros para su construcción.
Destacar también que esta pasarela se iba a construir en alto para no influenciar en el paso de la fauna del Ahuir, la cual recibió virulentas críticas, por parte no solo de colectivos que ahora aplauden el nuevo proyecto, si no también de los grupos que actualmente forman el gobierno de Gandia.
