Gandia, 03 d’octubre de 2018.- El regidor de Responsabilitat Social, Nahuel González, acompanyat del president de l’ASEM la Safor, José Vázquez ha presentat aquest matí les activitats organitzades per l’associació de familiars i malalts mentals de la Safor, amb motiu del Dia Mundial de la Salut Mental, que enguany gira al voltant de la importància de l’educació inclusiva.
Així, entre els actes programats destaca l’actuació de l’humorista Xavi Castillo el dijous, 11 d’octubre, a les 22 hores, al Teatre Serrano, amb l’objectiu de recaptar fons per a subvencionar les activitats d’ASEM. Les entrades anticipades (10 €) ja es poden adquirir en la nova seu d’ASAEM (Centre Associatiu Joan Climent), en CRIS la Safor i en www.ticketea.com (11 €). També directament a taquilla (12 €), el mateix dia de l’actuació.
El 10 d’octubre, ASAEM presentarà el seues projectes “Històries efímeres” i “Biblioteques humanes” (els malalts conten de primera mà la seua situació, inquietuds, etc…) al seminari que es celebrarà al CREAP de València, centre d’investigació i innovació sobre salut mental.
El 17 d’octubre, a les 19 hores, s’inaugura l’exposició fotogràfica “Integrados”, de Juanjo Todolí al claustre de la Biblioteca Central. Imatges quotidianes dels usuaris del CRIS que mostren normalitat, sense rastre de la malaltia mental. S’hi podrà visitar fins al 6 de novembre.
Finalment, el 17 de novembre tindrà lloc el Sopar-gala a l’Hotel Safari.
L’associació també té oberta una campanya per recaptar ajuda econòmica a través de verkami que permeta la publicació d’un conte infantil que tracta el respecte a les diferències: «La colla de Nelson», de José Figueres, il•lustrat per Aitana Carrasco.
Suport de l’Ajuntament
D’altra banda, el president d’ASAEM també ha agraït el suport del regidor de Responsabilitat Social pel que fa a les reivindicacions econòmiques davant la Conselleria d’Igualtat i Polítiques Inclusives. I ha aclarit que, “tot i la preocupació, la nostra situació econòmica és estable i el servei està garantit a curt i mitjà termini. El que denunciem és que no s’està incomplint per part de la Generalitat el concert social. Els retards en els pagaments sí que posarien en perill la nostra activitat a la llarga. Però ara per ara no és alarmant”.
González, que es va reunir la setmana passada amb ASAEM per tal d’abordar la qüestió, s’ha compromès “a transmetre al director general la preocupació pels problemes de finançament. Cada euro invertit en salut mental es transforma en benefici per a una societat més igualitària, inclusiva…”.
