Las fuerzas del orden han detenido este sábado a más de 500 personas en las movilizaciones de París de los chalecos amarillos. Castaner, en declaraciones al canal «BFMTV» pidió a los chalecos amarillos que quieren hacer valer sus reivindicaciones «que no se mezclen» con los violentos porque «la violencia no es nunca una forma de manifestarse».
Las primeras cargas de la policía contra los «chalecos amarillos» que se manifiestan en París y los primeros lanzamientos de gases lacrimógenos tuvieron lugar esta mañana en la avenida de los Campos Elíseos y en una de las calles adyacentes. Desde poco después de las nueve de la mañana se vivieron escenas de tensión entre los manifestantes y los agentes antidisturbios, que les impidieron pasar por la avenida a partir de un determinado punto, en las proximidades del Palacio del Elíseo. Casi una hora después, los antidisturbios lanzaron gases lacrimógenos para dispersar a varias decenas de «chalecos amarillos» que trataban de penetrar por la calle Arsène Houssaye, adyacente a los Campos Elíseos.
Según informa el medio francés Le Mond, la cifra total de detenidos se sitúa ya en los 514 detenidos y 272 de ellos bajo, custodia policial. Por otro lado, la cifra de detenidos en todo el país —se han celebrado concentraciones en casi todas las principales ciudades de Francia— se sitúa en torno a las 700 personas.
El Ejecutivo ha movilizado un dispositivo de seguridad «excepcional», que incluye en particular el despliegue de 89.000 policías y gendarmes en todo el país (el sábado de la semana pasada habían sido 65.000), de los cuales 8.000 en la capital. En París, además, las zonas más sensibles por ser los puntos de concentración de los «chalecos amarillos», como el barrio de los Campos Elíseos, las plazas de la República y de la Bastilla han sido cortados al tráfico desde primera hora de la mañana y los comercios van a permanecer cerrados. Tampoco abrirán los grandes museos, ni los grandes almacenes, ni muchos mercados o establecimientos públicos.
