El equipo de Univisión, encabezado por el periodista mexicano Jorge Ramos, fue retenido este lunes durante dos horas y media en el Palacio Presidencial de Miraflores, en Caracas, después de que el presidente venezolano, Nicolás Maduro, abandonase una entrevista que le estaban haciendo porque, según Ramos, no le gustaron las preguntas.
Además, el periodista denunció que le requisaron el material grabado. “La entrevista la tienen ellos”, subrayó Ramos en una llamada televisada con su cadena tras haber estado retenido junto cinco productores y camarógrafos. También le confiscaron todos los equipos, los “encerraron en un cuarto de seguridad, apagaron las luces” y les “arrancaron los celulares”. Asimismo, se quedaron con muchas “cosas personales”, dijo Ramos en sus primeras declaraciones, ya desde el hotel de Caracas donde se alojan.
Después de aproximadamente 17 minutos de entrevista a él no le gustaron las cosas que le estábamos preguntando
“Teníamos una entrevista con el líder Nicolás Maduro y después de aproximadamente 17 minutos de entrevista a él no le gustaron las cosas que le estábamos preguntando sobre la falta de democracia en Venezuela, sobre la tortura, los prisioneros políticos y la crisis humanitaria que se está viviendo”, relató a Univisión.
