Gandia, a 7 de juliol de 2020.- El regidor delegat de Cultura, Nahuel González, acompanyat del programador musical i director de la Cada de la Marquesa, Eudald Gonzalez, han presentat aquest matí la 31 edició del Festival Polisònic Gandia. L’esdeveniment musical, un clàssic de les nits d’estius a la nostra ciutat, es desenvoluparà del 31 de juliol al 15 d’agost, a les 22.30 h, al Jardí de la Casa de la Marquesa.
“Finalment, consultats els tècnics, el govern local vam decidir realitzar el festival, perquè estan garantides totes les mesures de seguretat, fins i tot més enllà de les exigides per les autoritats sanitàries, També perquè tenim un compromís de tota la corporació municipal de reactivar la cultura de la ciutat quan més prompte millor”, ha destacat el regidor de Cultura.
Així, es redueix considerablement l’aforament, que passa de les 600 persones en edicions anteriors a 150 places, garantint la distància mínima d’1,5 m entre cadires. Les butaques estaran numerades i personal tècnica de la cada acompanyarà, un a un, el públic fins al seu lloc assignat. S’ha dividit l’espai en 4 zones: 3 a peu d’escenari (10 €, 8 amb descompte de Carnet Jove o de jubilat/pensionista), i una altra dalt, a la zona de terrassa del quiosc-bar (8 €, 6 amb descompte). En tots els casos, l’ús de mascaretes serà obligatori.
El festival és autosuficient, gràcies a les subvencions de la Conselleria de Cultura, la Diputació de València, l’aportació de l’Ajuntament de Gandia i la venda d’entrades.

El cartell
Per la seua banda, Eudald González ha destacat que aquesta serà una de les edicions més internacionals amb 6 grups, 4 dels quals són estrangers. Com és habitual, s’hi barregen estils: des de la música brasilera, tradicional, mediterrània, fins al blues, el jazz… “El Polisònic sempre ha sigut un festival obert als estils musicals no habituals als macro-festivals d’estiu. Hem rebut moltes felicitacions de grups, promotors musicals, directors d’altres festivals… per haver continuat amb el festival. Perquè el més fàcil hagués estat no fer-lo, però és possible realitzar-lo, tot i les condiciones de seguretat”.
Del cartell destaca l’actuació, el 14 d’agost, de la cantant Carmen París, una de les veus destacades la música tradicional, que barreja la jota amb altres estils. “Però l’èxit del Polisònic és que la majoria de grups són desconeguts en festivals musicals i la gent hi descobreix autèntiques joies”.
