Els Serveis Esportius Municipals informen que demà divendres, 10 de febrer, les instal•lacions esportives del pavelló cobert, i els camps i les pistes externes tornaran a prestar els seus serveis amb total normalitat a partir de les 15 hores, i només quedarà tancada la piscina climatitzada, que no obrirà fins que no finalitzen les obres de reposició de la seua coberta.
A causa dels forts vents del passat cap de setmana (diumenge de matí) part de la coberta de la piscina climatitzada va patir danys importants, i també totes les plaques solars instal•lades al sostre d’aquesta instal•lació.
Des del passat diumenge a la vesprada, i fins al dia de hui, els operaris d’empreses especialitzades han estat treballant per retirar tots els materials que pogueren suposar un perill per als usuaris de les instal•lacions.
Les instal•lacions durant aquestos dies han estat tancades amb l’única finalitat de preservar la seguretat dels usuaris.
Des dels Serveis Esportius Municipals s’informa que els usuaris que es consideren perjudicats per aquest tancament temporal per raons excepcionals climatològiques poden adreçar-se a les oficines del SEM, ubicades a la planta baixa del Pavelló Cobert, en horari d’atenció al públic, per tal d’exposar el que consideren oportú.
La Delegació d’Esports vol agrair a les Escoles Municipals, els clubs i els usuaris de les instal•lacions la seua col•laboració davant aquesta situació excepcional que hem patit en els últims dies.
