Gandia 9 de febrer 2017.- Liduvina Gil, presidenta de la Junta de Districte de Roís de Corella, ha comparegut hui davant els mitjans de comunicació per fer balanç de la reunió que ahir va mantenir amb veïns, col•lectius i empresaris de la barriada.
La regidora va informar els veïns que en el cas del trinquet de la barriada, que va quedar sense finalitzar la passada legislatura, el consistori estudia crear una comissió per tal de cercar una solució per finalitzar les obres. La idea del govern és treure un plec de condicions on l’empresa adjudicatària s’encarregue de finalitzar la infraestructura esportiva a canvi de la seua gestió i explotació. «En el seu dia el PP va dir que el trinquet seria finançat per la Diputació però ha quedat clar que era mentida. Ara i com sempre, l’actual govern ha de buscar una solució a un altre incompliment del Partit Popular. Un altre pufo que, segons els informes realitzats pels tècnics municipals, necessita una inversió de 933.000 € per a la seua finalització».
Durant la trobada la regidora va desgranar als presents del resultat de les activitats celebrades durant el Nadal al barri. Iniciatives que van ser valorades positivament tant pels veïns com els comerciants de la barriada que van millorar els seus ingressos.
Gil també va recordar que la Universitat Popular organitza part dels seus cursos a la barriada centrats en xarxes socials i introducció a la informàtica. «És una proposta que va fer la Junta i que ja està en marxa» i afegia que «es posarà en marxa un Cor de Gospel i Jazz gràcies a la col•laboració amb la Universitat Popular».
Un altre dels aspectes que es va analitzar va ser l’impacte positiu que està tenint el mercat que se celebra tots els dimarts al barri segons s’ha afirmat des del departament de Comerç.
La regidora també va informar que ja són 31 les empreses que han confirmat la seua participació en la segona Fira de l’Esport que se celebrarà a la barriada els dies 8 i 9 d’abril. Una iniciativa on a més participaran entitats esportives de la ciutat i tots els gimnasos i centres esportius de Gandia. Durant els dos dies de la fira, s’organitzaran classes i demostracions diverses adreçades a tots els públics. La iniciativa compta amb la col•laboració del departament de Comerç i l’Associació de Comerciants de la zona.
Pel que fa al vell hospital, Gil va informar que es continua treballant juntament amb la Conselleria en el pla funcional de l’edifici per decidir els serveis que tindrà el centre. Un cop finalitzat, s’integrarà en el Pla Director per a la seua posterior licitació i adjudicació. «La idea és posar en marxa un centre de Salut que completaria el mapa sanitari de Gandia juntament amb els centres sanitaris de Beniopa i Corea» va declarar la regidora.
