Gandia, 4 marzo 2022._ La Iglesia acogerá en la Safor a 15 personas que han huido de la guerra en Ucrania. La acogida se ha realizado a través de 2 dispositivos: 2 familias de 6 miembros en total se alojarán en una vivienda de acogida y otra persona se alojará temporalmente en el Centro de Atención Integral (CAI), ambos, recursos de Cáritas Gandia.
Por otra parte, la parroquia de Simat acogerá a otras 8 personas en una vivienda parroquial.
De esta forma la Iglesia en la comarca da respuesta al llamamiento de la Vicepresidenta y Consellera, Mónica Oltra, a la necesidad de viviendas para dar cobijo urgente a las personas huidas de la guerra en Ucrania.
Estas viviendas no son suficientes.
