Gandia 27 de febrer 2017.- El regidor delegat de l’Àrea d’Administració, Modernització i Govern Obert, Jose Manuel Prieto, ha anunciat aquest matí l’aprovació per unanimitat en la Comissió corresponent, l’aprovació de l’Ordenança Municipal de Transparència, accés a la Informació i la reutilització de dades de l’Ajuntament de Gandia.
Un document que implica que, per primera vegada, Gandia compte amb una normativa al respecte després d’un procés que ha durat prop d’un any i que també ha comptat amb la participació de la ciutadania en forma d’al•legacions, esmenes i aportacions. La comissió específica de treball va estar formada per un representant de cada grup polític municipal, el Secretari de l’Ajuntament i el responsable de l’Arxiu Administratiu. «Volíem que l’ordenança fos consensuada i així ha estat. Hem trigat una mica més del que s’esperava però amb això hem aconseguit la unanimitat. La normativa arriba fruit de la vocació i la voluntat d’aquest govern. Volíem convertir-nos en un dels primers consistoris que deixés ben clars tots els aspectes, des de com accedix un ciutadà als expedients fins a com supervisar la mateixa Transparència».
Algun dels punts que es contemplen en la normativa com ara la celebració anual d’un debat de l’Estat de la Ciutat; l’adaptació de tots els mecanismes i departaments del consistori a la Llei o la creació de la Unitat Pública d’Informació que s’encarregarà del desenvolupament de la Norma i el seu compliment a més de la posada en marxa en un termini màxim de 6 mesos del Comité Municipal de transparència compost per figures independents per fiscalitzar l’Ordenança. D’altra banda, també s’impulsarà el portal de dades obertes, ja en marxa a finals del 2015 i que ara anirà més enllà.
El regidor ha destacat que «l’aplicació de l’ordenança no serà immediata. Haurem d’adaptar progressivament l’estructura municipal. És una Ordenança assumible que ha comptat amb el treball de més de 30 tècnics municipals als quals vull agrair la seua feina».
D’altra banda, Prieto ha destacat que hui també s’ha aprovat en la Comissió d’Administració el reglament d’accés públic al servei municipal de Wifi. «Internet ha de ser un dret de la ciutadania però havíem de fer-ho de tal manera que no fes competència als operadors privats. D’aquesta manera, aportem una nova eina que ajudarà a millorar la prestació dels serveis municipals».
