Nota de Prensa PAH SAFOR
Esta mañana, una vez más, la ciudadanía solidaria, convocada por la PAH Safor, ha parado el desahucio de una vecina nuestra, Yamina, y de su familia, que Cajamar quería llevar a cabo.
Se trataba del segundo lanzamiento. En octubre de 2015, una comisión jurídica ya intentó llevar a cabo el desahucio. El conseguimos detener y desde ese momento, la PAH Safor, junto con Yamina, han venido llevando a cabo negociaciones con esta entidad, con el fin de conseguir que este segundo lanzamiento no se producirá y que se aprobara un alquiler social, para que pudieran permanecer en la que ha sido su casa durante los últimos años.
Después de meses y meses de conversaciones, hasta ayer Cajamar aún ni había solicitado la suspensión del desahucio a los Juzgados, ni había remitido el contrato de alquiler a Yamina. Decidió esperar a suspenderlo hasta esta mañana, cuando se encontró con vecinas y vecinos de Yamina, con ciudadanas y ciudadanos solidarios, y con la Plataforma de Afectadas por la Hipoteca de La Safor. Y nos preguntamos, ¿por qué? Y por qué firman con la Generalitat un «Plan antidesahucios» y luego se comportan de esta manera?
De cualquier modo, la ciudadanía solidaria, de manera pacífica pero determinada, se ha presentado hoy ante casa de Yamina y Cajamar ha tenido que suspender el lanzamiento «provisionalmente». Se ha abierto -esperemos- un proceso de negociación que trabajar para que se materialice en la firma de un alquiler social, tal como Cajamar lleva cerca de un año prometiendo.
La PAH Safor continuará junto con Yamina y junto con todas las personas que estén veguerías vulnerado su derecho constitucional a la vivienda. También seguiremos reivindicando que apruebe YA una Ley autonómica que asegure una verdadera función social de la vivienda. Recientemente presentamos a todos los grupos del Ayuntamiento de Gandia una moción para que se impliquen y presionan a sus colegas en las Cortes Valencianas a que la aprueban ya. Recordemos que, tal como ha dicho el Consejo General del Poder Judicial en Valencia hay 41 desahucios al día.
