Medio día de fiesta para todos los presentes. Pero más para las jugadoras que por fin tuvieron el marco que se merecen. Un estadio de fútbol, el recibimiento de la gente, 17.000 personas alentándolas y ellas con una entrega total hasta el último minuto.Triunfo contundente del Valencia Femenino y una digna derrota del Levante Femenino al que lo avala la historia de ser uno de los primeros que apostó por el fútbol femenino. Fiesta a repetir, esto, mas allá de lo comercial, es un triunfo mas femenino. Ojalá todos valoremos lo logrado.

 

 

El Camp de Mestalla se inauguró el 20 de mayo de 1923 y este domingo, 23 de abril de 2017, ha abierto sus puertas para acoger por primera vez el derbi valenciano de fútbol femenino y a su vez el primer partido del Valencia CF Femenino en el estadio. Un marco histórico, el Camp de Mestalla, para un Valencia CF Femenino – Levante UD Femenino histórico. Un partido que ha reunido en el feudo blanquinegro a 17.000 espectadores, superando así el récord de los 14.000 que asistieron al Atlético de Madrid – FC Barcelona de la Liga Iberdrola en el Vicente Calderón.

 

El presidente de la Generalitat Valenciana, Ximo Puig, ha presenciado el encuentro, así como la vicepresidenta Mónica Oltra. Ambos han recibido de manos de las capitanas, Ivana Andrés, del Valencia CF, y Sonia Prim, del Levante UD, una reproducción del cartel conmemorativo del derbi. Igualmente, la presidenta del Valencia CF, Layhoon Chan, el presidente del Valencia CF Femenino, Salvador Belda, y el presidente de honor, Pedro Malabia, han obsequiado con dicha reproducción a Quico Catalán, presidente del Levante UD, y a Joaquín M. Longares, responsable comercial de Comunitat Valenciana y Murcia de Iberdrola, patrocinador de la Liga.

 

En un partido que el Valencia CF ha ganado 6-0 al Levante UD, el verdadero triunfador ha sido el fútbol femenino español.
