El pasado fin de semana se disputó el campeonato provincial en categoría alevín en la localidad de Paiporta.
El CV Gandia contó con la participación de 3 equipos, dos en cataegoría femenina y uno en masculina, en la que fue una jornada muy positiva para nuestros alevines.
En categoría masculina, el Turmetal se proclamó campeón autonómico tras vencer en la final a Domincas de Xàtiva. El equipo compuesto por Ricardo, Álvaro, Nicolás y Jaime se mostró muy superior al resto de rivales, llegando a la final tras vencer al Xàtiva en un partido muy disputado e imponiéndose al Dominicas con un marcador de 25-20, encuentro muy igualado en el que los chicos del Turmetal Gandía supieron superar los nervios del tramo final del partido. Hay que recordar que estos jugadores participan en la liga de rendimiento infantil organizada por la Federación de Voleibol de la Comunidad Valenciana. También buen papel el que mostraron nuestros equipos femeninos, donde el Juguettos se proclamó campeón femenino.
El próximo 24 de abril, se disputará la cuarta y última prueba del campeonato provincial en la localidad de Cheste.
