El passat dijous, 10 de maig, es va dur a terme una reunió de regidors d’Agricultura de la Safor, a l’Ajuntament d’Oliva, per tal d’emprendre mesures per afrontar de forma conjunta la problemàtica que suposa la superpoblació de porc senglar als nostres camps, i també a les carreteres.
Nota de Premsa
A la Sala de Comissions de l’Ajuntament d’Oliva es van donar cita un total d’onze regidors de distintes poblacions de la Safor, per tal d’abordar la problemàtica que el porc senglar està causant als camps de les comarques de la Safor i la Marina.
Per part de l’Ajuntament d’Oliva va assistir el regidor d’Agricultura, Gabriel Oltra, i la regidora de Medi Ambient, Imma Ibiza, i també va estar present Pep Mascarell, secretari de la Mancomunitat, que es va comprometre a traslladar les propostes que es plantejaren en la reunió al plenari de la Mancomunitat, en forma de moció per instar a la Generalitat Valenciana a emprendre les mesures oportunes per tal de fer front a un problema que ja està causant abundants d’anys econòmics als camps i un greu perill a les carreteres.
Cadascun dels regidors va exposar una sèrie de fets que comporten un agreujament de la situació, com ara la falta de neteja i manteniment dels valls i barrancs, responsabilitat de la Confederació Hidrogràfica del Xúquer, i l’abandonament progressiu de camps, que es converteixen en zones de refugi per als animals. A açò cal sumar la reducció de l’expedició de llicències de caça, per tant menor nombre de caçadors, els elevats costos que comporta l’activitat cinegètica per als particulars, ja que la munició i les llicències han incrementat el seu cost, i el fet d’haver d’enviar a analitzar les peces caçades a Castelló, per realitzar-los la prova de la triquina, que suposa una despesa considerable per cada exemplar caçat. Tot plegat, es va convenir que hi ha una sèrie de mesures normatives que caldria modificar o emprendre per tal de disminuir la problemàtica, però són necessàries una sèrie d’actuacions prèvies.
D’aquesta primera reunió es va prendre la decisió d’iniciar conjuntament dues mesures inicials, que suposarien la primera fase d’un projecte comú, de tots els municipis, per tal d’efectuar mesures adequades contra el que es pensa que s’hauria de considerar una “plaga”. Així doncs, s’ha decidit incidir en la importància de la neteja de les parcel•les abandonades, per tal que aquestes no servisquen de refugi per als porcs senglars i que no tinguen, per tant, facilitat d’obtindre l’aliment que els incentive a baixar de les muntanyes cap a les zones urbanes. L’Ajuntament d’Oliva ja ha començat a actuar.
A més, per fer patent davant la Generalitat Valenciana de la magnitud de la situació, amb la col•laboració d’AVA, es crearà un model homogeni d’instància perquè els propietaris de parcel•les que hagen sofert danys ocasionats per porcs senglars ho comuniquen, i així, poder generar dades efectives de la situació. Aquest model d’instància d’ací a pocs dies estarà disponible al Magatzem Municipal, i a l’Ajuntament d’Oliva. Allí s’hauran de fer constar les següents dades: Terme municipal, polígon, parcel•la, paratge, cultius danyats i danys previsibles.
La finalitat que es busca recollint dades és instar a la Generalitat Valenciana a considerar la superpoblació de porcs senglars com una “plaga”, i que així es puguen ampliar els períodes de caça i es pressuposte una dotació econòmica que ajude a l’activitat cinegètica, com a única possibilitat de disminuir la població dels senglars al nostre territori, ja que l’espècie no disposa de depredadors naturals. Per a tal empresa, s’estudiarà el precedent de la consideració de plaga per al cas dels conills en la Vall d’Albaida en 2007, que també va provocar grans d’anys als cultius de la zona.
És molt importat, per tant, la col•laboració ciutadana i la implicació dels ajuntaments de la Safor i la Marina, perquè les iniciatives resulten efectives i es puga afrontar amb contundència aquesta problemàtica present.
