La Alcaldesa de Gandia, Diana Morant, recibió la visita de la recién nombrada como nueva Decana del Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación de la Comunidad Valenciana y Presidenta de la Asociación Valenciana de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación, Carolina Pascual , quien conoció la ciudad y puso a disposición del consistorio el colegio que preside para cualquier gestión que se necesite.
Morant y Pascual aprovecharon la reunión para visitar el Campus de Gandia de la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, donde se imparte el Grado en Ingeniería de Sistemas de Telecomunicación, Sonido e Imagen. En el Campus fueron recibidas por su Director, Jesús Alba, quien mostró las instalaciones a la Decana y compartieron algunas experiencias y proyectos que se trabajan actualmente desde Gandia a dicha titulación.
