El primer día de huelga indefinida en el sector del taxi en la Comunitat Valenciana ha sido secundada al 100% de los vehículos y con servicios mínimos gratuitos para enfermos, para personas con movilidad reducida y para atender otros tipos de urgencias, han informado fuentes de las organizaciones convocantes.Las diferentes asociaciones del taxi de Valencia y Alicante se han sumado desde las 00.00 horas de hoy a los paros y movilizaciones que ya han iniciado ciudades como Madrid o Barcelona para reclamar una limitación de las licencias de vehículos de transporte con conductor (VTC).Las ciudades de Valencia y Alicante están hoy sin servicio de taxi, lo que ha sorprendido a los viajeros que han llegado a las estaciones de trenes o autobuses y que no conocían la existencia de la huelga.Fuentes de las asociaciones del taxi han indicado que lamentan las molestias que puedan ocasionar a los usuarios, pero han resaltado que esta huelga de servicio es la única forma de conseguir sus reivindicaciones sobre la limitación de las licencias VTC.Las principales peticiones de los taxistas al Ministerio de Fomento son limitar las licencias VTC a una por cada 30 taxis existentes en la actualidad, y que las competencias en la concesión s de licencias sea transferida a las comunidades autónomas. Para mañana lunes se ha convocado una concentración a las 8 horas en el aeropuerto de Manises, uno de los lugares clave por el numeroso tráfico de usuarios que inician o terminan sus vacaciones de verano.
