l passat dimarts 25 de setembre l’Executiva del BLOC-Compromís per Xeraco es va reunir per aprovar el reglament que obria el procés de presentació de candidatures per encapçalar la llista electoral per als pròxims comicis locals.Tot aquell militant que així ho creia oportú, tenia dret a presentar-se en un termini de 10 dies naturals.

Així doncs, aquest divendres 5 d’octubre, a la mateixa Assemblea de militants i simpatitzants, es tancava el termini de presentació de candidatures. Jacinta Rubio, actual Tinent Alcalde i regidora d’Urbanisme, Hisenda, Participació Ciutadana, Patrimoni, Noves Tecnologies i Modernització a l’Ajuntament de Xeraco fou l’única persona que es va presentar i per unanimitat, de tota l’Assemblea es va ratificar la seua candidatura per encapçalar la llista electoral del 2019 per Compromís per Xeraco.
Francesc Serralta, qui ha sigut el darrer cap de llista a les eleccions del 2011 i 2015, li ha donat l’enhorabona i el seu suport. Creu que li toca pegar una passa endarrere perquè, segons ha explicat, ell ja ha cumplit el seu paper i li toca a la pròxima generació. A més, ha manifestat que està molt content d’aquestos anys i de tota la tasca que ha pogut fer, com Alcalde i Regidor, per millorar la vida de la gent de Xeraco.
Jacinta ha destacat la tasca, dedicació i treball de Francesc Serralta i ha agraït a tot el col·lectiu el suport que li ha donat. I ha manifestat que ara toca presentar un projecte per a Xeraco i la seua gent, posant en valor el patrimoni cultural i natural que tenim.
Ara s’obri un termini fins a principis de l’any que ve per presentar a l’Assemblea Local una proposta de Llista Electoral.
