Gandia reconeix l’esforç dels seus agents de la Policía Local

• En l’acte, es van lliurar reconeixements als cossos de seguretat de l’Estat, entitats i empreses per la seva desinteressada col•laboració durant l’incendi forestal

Gandia 24 d’octubre 2018.- El Palau Ducal va acollir aquest matí la Festa de la Policia de la Policia Local de Gandia, un acte on es va premiar i reconéixer a diferents efectius del cos policial per la seua tasca, i que va estar presidit per l’alcaldessa de Gandia, Diana Morant. L’acte va comptar amb la participació d’una àmplia representació de la corporació municipal, membres de col•lectius socials i empresarials de la ciutat i representants del cos de Bombers, Protecció Civil, Creu Roja, Policia Nacional, Guàrdia Civil i el jutge degà de la ciutat de Gandia.

 

La jornada va estar marcada pel reconeixement a tots els Cossos i Forces de Seguretat de l’Estat, col•lectius, associacions i empreses, que van col•laborar de manera desinteressada en els dies que l’incendi forestal va afectar el terme municipal de Gandia durant el passat mes d’agost.

 

El cap de la Policia Local de Gandia, Marc Cuesta, va tindre unes paraules davant de tots els assistents on va agrair el treball de totes les unitats que conformen la Policia Local així com a la unitat administrativa, «autèntic motor de tot aquest impressionant vehicle que és la Policia Local de Gandia».

 

Cuesta ha destacat que el cos de Policia afronta dos reptes de futur com són la innovació tecnològica de la qual ha declarat que «per fi comencem a veure la llum» i l’envelliment de la plantilla, pel que va sol•licitar nous processos selectius que no només permeten incorporar nous agents sinó que a més, possibiliten la promoció interna dels agents.

 

Finalment, cap de la Policia Local de Gandia va agrair «les facilitats que ens donen la Justícia, així com la resta de Forces de Seguretat, Guàrdia Civil, i en particular Policia Nacional, que sempre han estat al nostre costat quan els necessitem, com els bombers, Protecció Civil i Creu Roja».

 

La regidora delegada de Seguretat, Àngels Pérez va voler remarcar «la veritable personalitat de tot un equip humà, com és el de la Policia Local de la nostra ciutat» per la seua implicació i treball realitzat en l’incendi que es va originar a Llutxent el passat mes d’agost i que va afectar la nostra ciutat.

 

«Des que el foc va començar, tota una xarxa d’agents es van posar en marxa per afrontar la situació, amb un únic objectiu: salvaguardar a les persones i protegir-les del perill. No van importar les hores, ni els dies, us vau posar al servei de la ciutadania, per a tot el que fes falta» «En aquests moments tan durs que patirem junts, és on cobra més sentit pren la funció de la Policia Local, com a tasca de proximitat, perquè en aquestes circumstàncies, és on es percep el seu nivell de professionalitat i on vaig poder comprovar com vau donar el millor per atendre les persones. Per això em sent molt orgullosa de la vostra tasca i teniu tot el meu reconeixement».

Un altre dels aspectes que va destacar l’edil, és l’increment de la línia de tolerància zero davant les actituds incíviques als carrers de la nostra ciutat; «Hem augmentat la contundència sobre el control dels lloguers d’apartaments que resultaven problemàtics; s’ha actuat de manera directa sobre el soroll, el botellot, el consum de drogues i totes aquelles actituds que provoquen problemes de convivència» i va finalitzar la seua intervenció agraint «la voluntat permanent de la feina ben feta. Em sent profundament orgullosa de la vostra actitud perquè Gandia siga una ciutat tranquil•la i segura».

 

Es van lliurar 21 diplomes als agents de la Policia Local que durant aquest últim any van participar en diverses actuacions com ara detencions, el rescat de dos menors o una reanimació cardio pulmonar que va salvar la vida d’un ciutadà. També hi va haver reconeixements per a tres agents i un inspector que ja han complert 25 anys de servei en el cos, i a tres efectius que s’han jubilat durant aquest any.

 

L’acte va estar presidit per l’alcaldessa de Gandia, Diana Morant, que va destacar «hui estem recordant els moments viscuts durant l’últim any, alguns de gran satisfacció, però altres de certa tristesa, com l’incendi forestal que tant va colpejar el nostre pulmó verd. Un contratemps que vaig viure molt de prop comprovant, de primera mà, el seu alt nivell d’implicació i de responsabilitat» «Vull destacar la noble tasca desenvolupada en l’operatiu d’acompanyament als veïns, perquè pogueren visitar les seues cases, on demostràreu en tot moment una especial sensibilitat i una gran humanitat, el que us honra. I és que vau estar, en tot moment, al costat de les persones afectades. Afortunadament, no es va haver de lamentar cap desgràcia humana. Vosaltres, juntament amb la resta de forces de seguretat, teniu un valor extraordinari i sou la imatge de la millor cara de Gandia».

 

L’alcaldessa també va recalcar la resposta exemplar, solidària i immediata de veïns anònims, empreses o entitats que es van posar a disposició de l’Ajuntament. «En nom de tota la ciutat de Gandia, vull expressar la meua gratitud a tots i cada un dels efectius que van saber estar a l’altura de les circumstàncies, com ara Policia Local, Guàrdia Civil, Policia Nacional, Bombers, Protecció Civil, Creu Roja…» i va continuar la seua intervenció agraint especialment a Marc Cuesta «per estar al capdavant d’un equip que, si cada dia demostra que és un gran cos, els dies d’emergència, la vostra excel•lència i el nostre reconeixement s’accentuen».

 

«Aquest incendi ens ha servit per a veure com és de gran la solidaritat dels gandians. Un valor de fraternitat de tota la ciutadania que hem volgut reconéixer i destacar també en aquest acte. Ara, totes i tots, seguim estant al costat del veïnat, vam seguir dialogant amb ells i seguim treballant per defensar les seues necessitats. I farem tot el que estiga a les nostres mans, perquè aquest lamentable incident no torne a passar. Aquest és el nostre gran repte col•lectiu».

 

Un altre dels aspectes que ha destacat Morant durant la seua intervenció ha estat el compliment de l’Ordenança de Convivència. L’alcaldessa ha recordat que durant els darrers anys s’ha combatut de manera estricta i decidida els comportaments incívics aplicant aquesta Ordenança, «per eliminar aquesta perjudicial marca de destinació turística enfocada a la disbauxa que tenia Gandia. Durant juliol i agost d’aquest any es van imposar més de 3.000 actes per incompliment de l’Ordenança de Convivència, de les quals 2.800 corresponien a molèsties per soroll».

 

Pel que fa als reptes que afronta la Policia Local, Morant ha destacat que «com a alcaldessa de Gandia, era conscient que per aconseguir els nostres objectius s’havia de retornar en recursos humans i millors condicions seu quefer diari. Des del primer minut, tenia constància que no tenien efectius. Tenia tanta constància com convenciment, que el que sol•licitaven havia estat guanyat abans amb actitud i responsabilitat. Aquesta mateixa actitud de compromís, és la pedra sòlida que em permet dir-vos que l’Ajuntament de Gandia ha tret durant aquesta legislatura més de 40 noves places de Policia Local, si comptabilitzem les 10 que s’han previst per al pròxim any i les de promoció interna» i ha recordat que» estem renovant les aplicacions informàtiques i, en el que resta de legislatura, acabarem de dotar tots els agents amb xupetins balístics de protecció, així com de les noves pistoles. Totes aquestes millores són primordials per a una ciutat com Gandia, la qual té un compromís humà amb la gent i, especialment, amb qui se sent vulnerable».
