Gandia va iniciar ahir els treballs que permetran recuperar per a la ciutadania l’antic pàrquing Gandia 19 de febrer 2019.- El departament d’Urbanisme de l’Ajuntament de privat existent entre la Casa de la Marquesa i la plaça del Prado. La iniciativa farà possible la implantació d’una zona enjardinada on els xiquets i la cultura seran els protagonistes, alhora que es millorarà la connexió entre el passeig Germanies i la plaça del Prado.

Tal com ha explicat el portaveu del govern municipal de Gandia, Jose Manuel Prieto, el projecte de reforma permetrà integrar la plaça del Prado amb el solar de la Casa de la Marquesa. «La connectivitat de les dues zones ens obliga a transformar un espai que era provisional, en definitiu».
Els treballs han obligat a enderrocar el mur amb el mural ‘Ens Volem Vives’ que es va construir de manera provisional i que separa els dos espais. Des de l’Ajuntament de Gandia es lamenta aquesta coincidència pel que, a causa de la importància del missatge, el consistori planteja una ubicació definitiva per al mural feminista abans del pròxim 8 de març.
‘Ens volem vives’, és «un missatge amb la suficient entitat i absolutament transversal i necessari en aquesta societat, pel que se li assignarà un espai definitiu que serà proposat als col•lectius feministes. Sobre aquest projecte compartirem les reflexions per establir una solució comuna que passa per assignar un espai definitiu i facilitar tots els materials perquè siga una realitat en breu», ha conclòs Prieto.
