El rey Juan Carlos I firmó en un acta de la ‘tapadera’ montada para ocultar 100 millones de dólares a Hacienda: la Fundación Lucum. Un acuerdo privado de 2011 revela que el entonces rey se implicó en la gestión de esta estructura ‘off shore’. Su gestor Arturo Fasana le llevaba el dinero en maletas cuando viajaba con Corinna Larsen (antes zu Sayn-Wittgenstein) a Suiza.
Los estatutos de la Fundación Lucum contienen la rúbrica de Juan Carlos I, según revela El Confidencial. Esta estructura era una tapadera para mantener esta fortuna en secreto. Fue montada por encargo del propio rey en el despacho de Zarzuela. La fundación es panameña y tenía una cuenta en el banco Mirabaud, en Ginebra.
Las autoridades suizas han remitido a la fiscalía española la investigación sobre esta fundación, sus gestores y los movimientos de los 100 millones de dólares que fueron depositados en 2008. En el año 2010 Juan Carlos I viajó a Suiza con un maletín con 1,7 millones de euros (1,9 millones de dólares) que dijo que había recibido del sultán de Bahréin.
