Les actuacions formen part del programa ARRU de regeneració urbana del nucli antic i suposen una inversió de 331.106,01 euros
L’alcalde d’Oliva, David González, i el regidor de Vies Públiques, Miquel Doménech, han visitat este matí les obres de la 2a fase de reurbanització de l’entorn de l’Escoleta El Caragol, que contemplen l’eixamplament del carrer del Ponent fins als 6,5 m, la construcció d’una nova escala, més segura, i la pavimentació dels carrers de sant Pancraci, dels Serrans i part del carrer Divina Gràcia, així com millores en el sistema de clavegueram.
Els treballs no han parat en tot l’estiu i això ha permés que estiga molt avançada l’estructura de l’ampliació del carrer. Esta fase és la més complexa del projecte i s’ha accelerat per a causar les menors molèsties possibles al funcionament de l’escoleta amb el començament de les classes.
Per a compatibilitzar la resta de treballs amb el funcionament de l’escoleta i garantir la seguretat d’alumnes, educadores i educadors s’ha previst la compartimentació del pati i la col·locació d’un doble tancament format per tanques metàl·liques.
La totalitat dels treballs estaran finalitzats, previsiblement, a finals del mes de desembre. El programa de reurbanització està inclòs dins del Programa de Foment de la Regeneració i Renovació Urbana del Nucli Antic de la ciutat d’Oliva, conegut com a ARRU, cofinançat entre el Ministeri de Foment, la Generalitat Valenciana i l’Ajuntament d’Oliva.
