Del 29 de abril al 2 de mayo deportistas de toda España se dan cita en Gandía, para disputar el
torneo de baloncesto Basket Cup Gandía que este año celebra su quinto aniversario. Un evento
deportivo para todo aquel que quiera disfrutar del baloncesto de formación.

Por ello, esta congregación deportiva organizada por QL Sport, empresa con más de 12 años de
experiencia en el sector, y contando con UPB Gandía como club anfitrión y colaborador del torneo,
tiene como objetivo sentar un referente en la ciudad, marcándola en el mapa como punto de interés
de turismo deportivo en España.
Con más de 1600 deportistas nacionales, entre los 150 equipos participantes que van a llenar la
ciudad se encuentran representantes de diferentes comunidades autónomas como la Comunidad
Valenciana, Madrid, Castilla León, Andalucía, Región de Murcia y Aragón.
Este torneo se distribuirá alrededor de toda la ciudad imponiendo su juego en la localidad de Gandía
utilizando el Centro Deportivo Municipal de Gandía, el Pabellón del Raval y el Centro Deportivo
Beniopa. También se extenderá a las diferentes localidades vecinas como Oliva, Cullera y
Bellreguard. De ellas se utilizarán sus deportivos municipales con las que sumarían en total 16 pistas de juego que podrán estar jugando en forma simultánea.
