21. Junio. 2017.- El gobierno de izquierdas sigue impasible ante la creciente demanda de los vecinos, de zonas muy localizadas de Gandia (que no indicamos para no estigmatizar), donde se están produciendo ocupaciones ilegales de locales y viviendas.
Algunos de los testimonios de vecinos donde en sus comunidades se han instalado ocupas, dicen sentir “miedo” e imploran una decidida acción política porque tienen “hijos pequeños” y no saben quiénes están en el piso de enfrente o abajo.
Lo bien cierto, es que estas zonas residenciales de Gandia son zonas muy estudiadas por mafias y grupos organizados, que suelen seleccionar viviendas donde establecer personas que realizan actividades ilícitas como puede ser la venta de drogas o el ejercicio de la prostitución.
Andrés Puig, concejal del Grupo Municipal Popular, ha lamentado la pasividad del Gobierno de Gandia: “No hacen nada. Les da igual lo que los vecinos digan, parece que mientras no les toque a ellos, no se actúa y eso tampoco puede ser”.
Puig ha recordado: “Antes, siempre con la Ley en la mano, teníamos un protocolo establecido entre Policía, Servicios Sociales y Juzgado. Se actuaba en cuestión de días y dábamos paz a los vecinos, mientras mandábamos un serio aviso a las bandas organizadas de que en Gandia se cumple la Ley”.
Por último, los populares exigen acción y recuerdan que se necesita palpar la realidad de las cosas y ponerse en la piel de los vecinos, para entender que necesitan que el Ayuntamiento de Gandia, esté del lado de los vecinos que residen legalmente en sus viviendas y hacen frente a sus tributos.
