Gandia 3 de juliol 2017.- L’alcaldessa de Gandia, Diana Morant acompanyada per Pilar Moncho, Diputada de Turisme; Antonio Cejalvo, Cap de la Demarcació de Costes; i els regidors Miguel Ángel Picornell i Xavier Ródenas, han visitat aquest matí la passarel•la de vianants «Sender Blau» que ha estat reformada gràcies a un ajut de la Diputació de València de 125.000 € inclosa dins del Pla d’Infraestructures Turístiques.
Una adequació i millora general que, a causa del nul manteniment que durant la passada legislatura, era necessària per a fer valdre la zona.
En concret els treballs que s’han realitzat han estat la substitució dels passamans de fusta, el tractament en general de més de 3.400 metres quadrats de la fusta de la infraestructura, col•locació de nou mobiliari (20 bancs, 20 butaques, 20 papereres), substitució de les lluminàries antigues per llums Led de baix consum, reposició de palmeres, a més de la millora de la pèrgola situada al carrer Cap de la Nau.
«Un cop s’han fet totes les feines que s’havien de fer, podem dir que la passarel•la ha quedat fantàstica. No només aporta un plus d’estètica i de qualitat a la nostra platja, sinó també una alternativa ecològica, accessible i còmoda perquè els ciutadans i turistes puguen passejar pel nostre litoral. Podríem haver destinat els diners a un altre projecte però vam decidir fer-ho amb aquesta passarel•la, ja que som un govern compromés amb el Medi Ambient i la sostenibilitat» va afirmar Diana Morant.
«La qualitat, la seguretat i el respecte al medi ambient són tres eixos amb els quals treballem d’una manera ferma i decidida, i que estan integrats en el model turístic d’excel•lència pel qual ha apostat el nostre govern, atés que estem convençuts que és el que es mereix la nostra ciutat.
Tenim clar que ara és el moment de posar l’accent en els nostres valors, en l’ètica del turisme, en el respecte al medi ambient i els nostres paratges naturals, en la responsabilitat social, a la ruptura de barreres arquitectòniques i en l’atenció a persones amb discapacitat. I aquesta instal•lació encaixa perfectament amb aquest nou model turístic. Aquesta passarel•la, a més, és un exemple de la necessitat d’establir actuacions conjuntes entre les administracions per a executar obres i serveis públics» va finalitzar l’alcaldessa.
Per la seua banda, Pilar Moncho, ha recordat que «al seu dia vam visitar la passarel•la i la veritat és que ara sembla nova. Té un valor mediambiental considerable i amb pocs diners s’ha aconseguit un resultat magnífic. Espere que la ciutadania i els visitants de Gandia la utilitzen i la gaudisquen».
