El Aquarius no desembarcará en Libia a las personas rescatadas ni las transferirá a ningún barco que las lleve de regreso a ese país. Libia no es un lugar seguro para refugiados, solicitantes de asilo y migrantes.
Así mismo, el Aquarius solo cumplirá con las instrucciones para no intervenir en las operaciones de asistencia si tiene certeza de que se han desplegado y están disponibles medios para rescatar a las personas y llevarlas a un lugar seguro.
