El Partido Popular de Gandia conoció ayer el corte de luz producido en el Centro Deportivo Roís de Corella que supuso, según informaron desde el propio centro, la suspensión de actividades de propio centro, así como no tener agua caliente.
Este hecho ha causado prácticamente el cierre del centro impidiendo a los usuarios poder utilizar las instalaciones del centro.
Desde el Partido Popular de Gandia venimos denunciando esta situación desde marzo de 2017, cuando la empresa adjudicataria solicitó al Gobierno un aplazamiento durante 6 meses en el pago del canon. El gobierno de la ciudad aceptó ese aplazamiento que finalizaba en septiembre de 2017, momento en el que tampoco se liquidó la deuda de la empresa con el ayuntamiento. En ese momento, el PP solicitó que el gobierno de PSOE y Més Gandia rescindiera el contrato con la empresa por falta grave como es el incumplimiento del pago del canon. “Y el Gobierno de Gandia ha mirado hacia otro lado, no ha puesto solución, por tanto es responsable directo de esta situación”, ha destacado Vicent Gregori.
Además el portavoz adjunto ha recalcado que “ya hace mucho tiempo que estamos preguntando en comisiones y en plenos qué pasa y qué solución iba a dar el gobierno al C.E. Roís de Corella”, la respuesta siempre ha sido “vamos a iniciar los trámites para rescindir el contrato”, pero la realidad es que ha pasado casi un año y el gobierno no ha hecho nada. Por tanto el concejal popular insiste en que “PSOE y Més Gandia son responsables directos de esta situación”.
Tras escuchar la rueda de prensa que han realizado las concejales, Lidya Morant y Liduvina Gil, que han sembrado más dudas que aclaraciones. Al PP le preocupa qué va pasar con los trabajadores, este gobierno no ha sido capaz de ponerse en contacto con ellos y, los mismos, se han tenido que enterar por la rueda de prensa que se quedan sin trabajo, al anunciar que la voluntad del gobierno es hacer allí un centro social y de actividades del barrio.
Pero además los populares tienen muchas dudas sobre la forma de gestión directa que han anunciado las concejales del PSOE, ya que el Plan de Ajuste del propio Ayuntamiento y el coste que supondría para las arcas municipales imposibilita esta solución.
Desde el PP solicitamos, por un lado que se convoque una Comisión del departamento de deportes, donde se de información a los grupos políticos de este Ayuntamiento, ya que nos enteramos por la prensa de lo ocurrido al respecto y una Comisión de Investigación para que la responsable de deportes y el responsable de contratación, así como los servicios jurídicos del ayuntamiento nos informe de porque desde el año 2016 no se han tomado medidas y se ha llegado a esta situación. Los trámites para la rescisión de un contrato no duran 2 años y medio, que es el tiempo que lleva la empresa concesionaria incumpliendo el contrato, el mismo tiempo que el gobierno de la ciudad lleva mirando hacia otro lado y es que para Gregori “los pagos de favores de este Gobierno a los ciudadanos de Gandia les cuesta muy caros”.
