Gandia 29 de novembre 2018.- La regidora delegada de Seguretat, Àngels Pérez i Salvador Morant, intendent d’unitat de Trànsit de la Policia Local han presentat aquest matí en roda de premsa la campanya d’educació viària «Com camines per la teua ciutat» organitzada des del departament de Trànsit i Mobilitat.
Àngels Pérez ha recordat que des de l’inici de la legislatura el govern s’ha posat com a objectiu fomentar un canvi en la mobilitat de la ciutat, per millorar la qualitat de vida de la ciutadania i que aquest tipus de canvis s’ha d’iniciar també des de les escoles.
«Estem treballant amb el projecte del Camí Escolar Segur, per crear unes condicions adequades perquè els xiquets puguen desplaçar-se de forma habitual amb la màxima seguretat possible pels carrers de la nostra ciutat. Dins d’aquest projecte hem de realitzar algunes activitats prèvies. Activitats de sensibilització i conscienciació perquè els xiquets i xiquetes adquirisquen hàbits i rutines que, potser no han pogut assolir per la seua curta edat» va declarar la regidora.
La campanya començarà a partir de la pròxima setmana i, durant el primer trimestre, fins al mes de febrer aproximadament, anirà dirigida a l’alumnat d’educació infantil.
A partir d’aquesta data, la iniciativa continuarà amb l’alumnat d’educació primària, de manera que tot l’alumnat de les escoles puga prendre consciència de determinats hàbits i conductes que han de conéixer del seu entorn urbà més immediat.
D’aquesta manera, efectius de la Policia Local es desplaçaran als diferents col•legis de la ciutat, on es realitzaran xerrades recolzades amb material didàctic perquè l’alumnat puga aprendre en forma de joc.
El projecte ja ha estat explicat en els centres educatius i ha rebut una bona acollida. D’aquesta manera, els col•legis poden incloure la iniciativa, ja que s troben realitzant la programació anual.
En total, hi participaran 17 col•legis, entre públics i concertats, el que suposa que 1.800 alumnes de 3 a 5 anys podran conéixer de primera mà el programa.
«L’objectiu primordial és que els xiquetsi xiquetes consoliden bons hàbits en moure’s per la ciutat de manera que a la llarga puguen desplaçar-se de manera autònoma i que les seues famílies aposten per una mobilitat saludable i sostenible amb total seguretat» va finalitzar Àngels Pérez.
Per la seua banda, Salvador Morant ha explicat que les activitats amb els xiquets seran lúdiques. «Es tracta de xiquets menuts amb una capacitat d’atenció reduïda de manera que les xerrades estaran basades en jocs i manualitats».
