Viernes 3 de febrero en el Espacio Emprendedor del Campus de Gandia de la UPV
La Cátedra de Innovación Campus de Gandia UPV, ha programado para mañana viernes 3 de febrero a las 10.30h, la conferencia «Gestión de la Demanda Turística: ¿Nuevas preguntas o nuevas respuestas?» a cargo de Francisco José Cossío Silva y Maria Ángeles Revilla Camacho, doctores en Administración y Dirección de Empresas profesores de la Universidad de Sevilla y especialistas en Marketing Turístico. La charla tiene lugar en el Espacio Emprendedor del Campus. Según los ponentes, ‘La demanda turística se encuentra afectada por circunstancias y tendencias propias de los nuevos escenarios del siglo XXI. Viejas preguntas se han quedado sin respuesta a lo largo de los años. ¿Es posible que estos nuevos factores ayuden a responderlas? ¿Han surgido nuevos interrogantes que exigen ser aclarados? Sin ser visionarios, entendemos que hay un interesante debate que puede arrojar luz al progreso del sector’.
Francisco José Cossío Silva es Doctor en Administración y Dirección de Empresas, y profesor de Marketing de la Universidad de Sevilla desde hace más de treinta años. Desde hace dos décadas, ha dirigido diversos proyectos de investigación (Contratos I+D) en materia turística y hotelera y es asesor y miembro del Observatorio Turístico de Sevilla, órgano interdisciplinar encargado de elaborar dos de los principales documentos que, con carácter semestral, arrojan luz y sirven de base al proceso de decisiones de las Políticas Estratégicas de la Consejería de Turismo y Deportes de la Comunidad Autónoma de Andalucía y del Consorcio de Turismo de Sevilla y Provincia: Informe sobre Demanda Turística e Informe sobre Percepciones y Comportamientos del Turismo. Paralelamente, es analista del Sector Turístico a nivel andaluz con reconocimiento de la Consejería de Turismo y Deporte de la Junta de Andalucía en el marco denominado “Turismo y Sociedad”. Es además formador en Programas de Reciclaje para Directivos de la Cadena Meliá, en el marco de la administración y dirección de empresas y Vicepresidente de la European Academy of Management and Business Economics (AEDEM). Es autor de numerosas publicaciones a nivel nacional e internacional.
María Ángeles Revilla Camacho es Doctora en Administración y Dirección de Empresas, y profesora de Marketing Turístico de la Universidad Hispalense desde hace más de quince años. Coordina e imparte el módulo de Marketing y Comercialización en el Master Internacional en Dirección Hotelera en la Facultad de Turismo de Sevilla, donde ha dirigido más de cincuenta Trabajos Fin de Master en España, Europa, Norte de África y Latinoamérica. Autora de numerosos trabajos y publicaciones enfocados al análisis de la competitividad de la empresa hotelera y del libro titulado “Fundamentos de Marketing Turístico” (2004). Es coordinadora del Área de Gestión Turística de European Academy of Management and Business Economics (AEDEM) y miembro de la Cátedra Metropol-Parasol de Gestión de Espacios Turísticos Urbanos con el patrocinio de SACYR.
