En Oliva, otro municipio de La Safor, estudió el Grado Medio de Música “sin ninguna pretensión”. “No lo tenía claro” y empezó a estudiar ingeniería en la universidad. Se motivó para continuar su formación en el Grado Superior de Música y allí encontró un profesor que la animó a continuar sus estudios en un máster que hizo en la Guildhall School de Londres y le “sirvió como plataforma para lanzarme al mundo profesional y orquestal en el Reino Unido”.
La sensación de “formar parte de un sonido. Vivirlo desde dentro. Algo que te hace vibrar y te hace sentir. Te pone los pelos de punta de formar parte de ese sonido”. Su primer trabajo fue tocando en charangas “durante todo el verano en las fiestas de diferentes pueblos”. Con el dinero que ahorró, cuando tan solo tenía 16 o 17 años, se pudo “comprar el instrumento” que tiene ahora y con el que toca, por ejemplo en la orquesta en Liverpool.

Esa vez tienes que ser capaz de corregir, mejorar y dar lo mejor de tu interpretación a la orquesta sin mucho margen de error”, cuenta en una conversación telefónica con RNE desde Londres.
