Gandia, 04 de novembre de 2021.- Ferran Martínez Mendoza (Compromís +´ Gandia unida), regidor de Polítiques, Econòmiques, Indústria, Comerç, Ocupació i Innovació, a més de president de la Junta de Districte de la Platja, va presentar ahir la seua renúncia a l’escó de regidor, que es materialitzarà al Ple ordinari de novembre que tindrà lloc el dijous 18 de novembre. Així ho ha anunciat aquest matí als mitjans de comunicació, després de fer-ho prèviament al seu grup municipal i als companys i a les companyes del Govern local.
Martínez s’ha mostrat molt agraït, pagat pel bagatge i les experiències adquirides, així com les persones que ha conegut pel camí. I amb la satisfacció d’haver-ho donat tot durant aquests dos anys i mig “molts intensos i durs per a tothom, però des de la meua àrea hem hagut de fer un treball frenètic amb ajudes pal·liatives i de foment de la reactivació dels sectors econòmics més afectats per la crisi. Hem tingut la sort de comptar amb un equipo tècnic i polític immillorable, sense això no haguera estat possible traure 12 línies d’ajudes, 4 edicions de Fira Mercat Gandia, el Market Place, Xecs Consum o la gran quantitat d’iniciatives també des de l’àrea d’innovació, l’ocupació o la indústria”.
Així, les raons de la seua marxa cal buscar-les, segons els mateix Martínez, en la capacitat de continuar afrontant els reptes al màxim de capacitat possible: “Perquè considere que en política, com en la vida personal i professional, quan algú ha d’afrontar reptes, ha de donar una passa al costat si no està “a tope” i deixar que altres ho facen; en la meua vida mai he fet res a mitges, per això és important l’honestedat de saber quan toca retirar-se…”.
Finalment, el regidor de Compromís Més Gandia unida ha llançat un missatge de tranquil·litat a la ciutadania, que “ha d’estar satisfeta i tranquil·la perquè el Govern de la ciutat està en les millors mans. Per sort, el clima de crispació política d’altres llocs no és el de la ciutat i això permet el diàleg i el consens”. Martínez s’ha mostrat a disposició del Govern local, la resta de grups i col·lectius del teixit associatiu de la ciutat, per a tot allò que necessiten d’ell.

Vicenta Ferrer Alemany serà la nova regidora
Precisament, una de les peces més destacades del grup de treball de l’àrea de Polítiques Econòmiques és l’actual assessora de govern i futura regidora, Vicenta Ferrer Alemany, qui ocupava el número 5 a la llista electoral de Compromís Més Gandia unida. Des de l’inici de la legislatura ha treballat colze a colze amb el seu company i coneix a la perfecció el funcionament, les necessitats i les persones que formen l’àrea. “A més, comptarà amb el suport dels tècnics funcionaris i del sector, perquè així m’ho han fet saber”, ha assegurat Martínez.
Nascuda a Gandia en 1965, és Diplomada en Infermeria i Treball Social i va completar la meua formació amb un màster en Farmacoteràpia per a Infermeria. Ha participat en diversos moviments socials. Professionalment vinculada al camp de la salut, abans d’entrar a l’Ajuntament treballava a l’Hospital Francesc de Borja. Ha estat membre de la Federació Valenciana de Discapacitats i Associació d’Ajuda al Poble Saharauí. És sòcia d’Ajuda en Acció, Greenpeace, Club de Córrer el Garbí i forma part de la Muixeranga de la Safor.
