Gandia, 2 de setembre de 2022.- La regidora de Polítiques Econòmiques i Comerç, Vicenta Ferrer, ha fet aquest matí un balanç dels resultats que ha deixat «Xec Comerç» i la situació de «Xec la bici», la qual finalitza el 30 de setembre. Tal i com ha indicat, enguany s’ha aconseguit una major despesa en «Xecs Comerç» i els sectors més populars on s’han depositat els diners han sigut el tèxtil i el calçat. D’altra banda, ha destacat el gran percentatge d’electrificacions de bici que s’estan efectuant gràcies a la iniciativa.
«Xecs Comerç Gandia» es va iniciar el 20 de maig amb una gran participació que va arribar a col·lapsar les webs per a sol·licitar-ho. Segons ha detallat la regidora, enguany s’han posat en circulació 800.000 euros (la meitat per part de l’Ajuntament i la resta per la ciutadania), dels quals s’han arribat a gastar en total 2.416.000 euros. «En 2021 es van posar 1 milió en circulació i es van arrossegar 2.800.000. Per tant, en 2021 per cada euro la gent va gastar 2,9 i enguany 3,02. Ha tingut més èxit i s’ha constatat que és una bona mesura per a incentivar la compra i reactivar el comerç», ha explicat.
Més d’un 50% dels «Xecs Comerç» es va gastar en tèxtil (39,73%) i calçat (25,14%). «El comerç va demanar que ho posarem en marxa abans de les rebaixes», ha apuntat Ferrer. Així mateix, la resta de sectors més populars van ser l’òptica amb un 8,4% i esports amb un 7,11%. També es va comprar amb els xecs diversos productes com electrodomèstics (5,26%), cosmètica (3,53%), complements (2,74%), decoració (2,59%), llibres (1,61%), joguets (1,11%) i estètica (0,81%).
Pel que fa a «Xec la bici» finalitzarà el 30 de setembre, per la qual cosa les xifres definitives sobre l’impacte de la campanya es coneixeran més endavant. Per ara, tal com ha assenyalat Ferrer, s’han efectuat compres per un valor de 182.000 euros amb els xecs i queden per gastar 17.800 del total. «He cridat a les botigues i estan contentíssimes.
