Gandia 28 de febrer 2017.- Gandia va acollir ahir la primera de les sis jornades dels cursos organitzats per la Diputació de València destinats a la formació específica del cos de la Policia Local en matèria de violència de gènere sota el títol «Policia Local i violència de gènere: la víctima com centre de la intervenció».
La iniciativa va aportar als agents tot tipus de contingut de caràcter interdisciplinari sobre la problemàtica tractada i aborda tres àrees bàsiques de Coneixement (social, jurídic i policial) que es repartiran al llarg de les 20 hores de durada. El curs s’adapta als compromisos competencials que cada ajuntament ha assumit per adaptar-se així al màxim la formació a les necessitats d’aprenentatge de cada policia participant.
Durant la presentació de les jornades van estar presents el Cap de Servei de Formació de la Diputació de València, Eva Navarrete; la Coordinadora del curs, i també inspectora de la Policia Local de València, Estefania Navarrete; el Cap De la Policia Local de Gandia, Marc Cuesta i la regidora de Seguretat, Àngels Pérez.
La regidora va declarar que «aquestes jornades són una bona eina de treball avui en dia, per a la formació de la Policia Local, pels continguts que van a impartir-se i els professionals que participen perquè són els que treballen dia a dia en aquesta matèria.
Considere que aquests continguts són d’imprescindible coneixement com a base per al tractament d’aquesta problemàtica, tant en el vessant social, com en la part jurídica i policial” i afegia que «Gandia encara està consternada per l’assassinat masclista que va tenir lloc la setmana passada. No és un cas aïllat, perquè ja són 16 dones han estat assassinades per les seues parelles o exparelles des que vam començar aquest any». «Necessitem, per tant, un canvi que exigisca, d’una vegada per totes, posar fi a la injustícia del menyspreu cap a les dones. I aquest canvi, aquesta regeneració cultural i social només pot arribar des de l’educació».
