El Grupo Municipal Popular quiere hacer extensivo a través de la presente nota de prensa, un reconocimiento a la labor que de manera silenciosa realiza la comunidad educativa en nuestra ciudad.
Y es que, los educadores están de enhorabuena. El Colegio Territorial de Arquitectos de Valencia (CTAV), ha incluido la reforma que posibilitó habilitar el colegio British School Gandia, en un edificio municipal ubicado en el Polígono Alcodar, entre los 50 mejores edificios construidos entre 2014 y 2016.
Un proyecto diseñado por el arquitecto Enric Zaragozá que posibilitó rehabilitar por completo el edificio que hasta la fecha presentaba serias deficiencias, habilitar la parcela anexa, construir la defensa del barranco y reforzar el destino final del edificio que era el educativo y formativo. Un proyecto asumido íntegramente por la empresa concesionaria y que además retribuye al Ayuntamiento de Gandia, con un importante canon anual de casi 150.000 €, así como con un amplio paquete de becas como las que se ofrecerán este verano para posibilitar el acceso al estudio del inglés a cualquier alumno interesado.
Para el Portavoz del Grupo Municipal Popular, Víctor Soler: “Al final la realidad se impone y celebramos que poco a poco el gobierno entienda y colabore con un proyecto educativo y reconocido; que representa la sana convivencia de diferentes opciones educativas que hacen de Gandia una ciudad rica, plural y enfocada a la excelencia educativa”.
Soler: “El modelo educativo del PP, al menos hasta la fecha pervive y gana fuerza en Gandia. Recordemos que al final se continuara con el modelo de Escoletes impulsado por el PP, así como con la concesión que posibilitó habilitar un colegio internacional en Gandia”.
Los populares resaltan la importancia de la Educación dentro del proyecto del PP y de ahí, que una parte importante de la iniciativa gubernamental del PP se enfocara hacia este sector.

Por otra parte, los populares en Gandia se han adherido a la campaña “Libertad Educativa”, con la que el PP pretende visualizar los ataques del Consell de Puig y Marzà, contra la pluralidad de opciones en la enseñanza, así como la necesaria libre elección de los padres a elegir qué tipo de Educación precisan para sus hijos.
Víctor Soler: “En todas las instituciones el PP siempre va a defender la libertad educativa. Los colegios concertados y privados, también son necesarios. Los colegios públicos también.
