Los opositores venezolanos Leopoldo López y Antonio Ledezma, quienes se encontraban en arresto domiciliario, fueron devueltos a prisión porque supuestamente planeaban fugarse y debido a sus declaraciones políticas, informó este martes el Tribunal Supremo de Justicia (TSJ).
Ambos volvieron a la prisión militar de Ramo Verde, de donde habían sido sacados para cumplir sus penas de prisión bajo arresto domiciliario, informaron hoy fuentes cercanas a ambos.

Según la Corte Suprema, «se recibieron por fuentes de inteligencia oficial información que daban cuenta (sic) de un plan de fuga de dichos ciudadanos, por lo cual y con la urgencia del caso, se activaron los procedimientos de resguardo correspondientes».
López y Ledezma, los presos más emblemáticos de la oposición venezolana, fueron sacados de sus viviendas en la madrugada de este martes por agentes del Servicio Bolivariano de Inteligencia (Sebin), según la Corte, tras ser «verificado el incumplimiento de las condiciones impuestas para que se mantuvieran bajo arresto domiciliario».
Pero al parecer más que el supuesto plan de fuga, lo que en realidad molestó al régimen de Maduro fueron las declaraciones que ambos líderes políticos hicieron en los medios y redes sociales en contra de la votación del domingo de una Asamblea Constituyente.
«Las condiciones impuestas a López no le permitían realizar ningún tipo de proselitismo político, esto en razón de la Sentencia Definitivamente Firme que pesa en su contra, la cual tiene como pena accesoria su inhabilitación política por el tiempo que dure la pena impuesta», indicó el TSJ.
Ambos dirigentes publicaron videos en los que llamaron a no votar en la elección del domingo de una Asamblea Constituyente, convocada por el presidente Nicolás Maduro, al considerarla un fraude, así como a mantener las protestas que exigen la salida del mandatario, con saldo de 125 muertos en cuatro meses.
El abogado defensor de López, Juan Carlos Gutiérrez,ponderó la medida como «arbitraria», puesto que López «acató en su totalidad» las dos condiciones establecidas para su arresto domiciliario desde que se le otorgó el pasado 8 de julio: prohibición de salir del país y de emitir declaraciones sobre su caso.
«Si se pretende revocar la medida de casa por cárcel por las declaraciones que emitió o por las reuniones que tuvo en su casa también sería un acto totalmente arbitrario» dijo al recordar que López publicó en Twitter varios vídeos criticando al presidente Nicolás Maduro y llamando a manifestarse en contra de su Gobierno.
Aseguró también que el partido y los familiares de López «sospechaban» que sería devuelto a la cárcel y por tanto habían preparado una «estrategia legal» para hacer frente a este «nuevo atropello».
El abogado agregó que los juristas que asisten al político acudirán a los tribunales para averiguar las razones de su nueva detención e informó que la esposa y la madre de López «harán todas las llamadas pertinentes para ejercer las denuncias nacionales e internacionales».
