Gandia 2 d’agost 2018.- Demà 3 d’agost a partir de les 19.00 hores obri les seues portes al Palau de Congressos Baladre. Un espai multidisciplinari de 1.350 metres quadrats que permetrà donar cabuda a multitud d’activitats i congressos. Es tracta d’una infraestructura que no només permetrà albergar als participants d’esdeveniments congressuals que es donen cita a la nostra ciutat, sinó que també estarà a disposició a la ciutadania i col•lectius.
Nota de Premsa
Per tal de donar a conéixer l’edifici i les seues possibilitats, des del govern de Gandia s’ha organitzat una mostra que recull quatre iniciatives diferenciades i que romandrà oberta al públic fins al pròxim 3 de setembre en horari de 19 a 23 hores.
Els visitants podran trobar durant el seu recorregut a l’edifici diferents exposicions:
La primera de les mostres és l’anomenada «Espai Baladre», obra de l’arquitecte municipal Iñaki Belda, que dóna a conéixer el procés constructiu de l’edifici.
La segona és l'»Espai Cultura», formada per una obra escultòrica d’Abel Iglesias. Un artista nascut a Lleida però que resideix a València i que ha dissenyat per a aquest espai una peça de 10 metres de llarg, 5,5 d’ample i més de 3,40 metres d’altura amb la qual els visitants podran interactuar.
La tercera és l'»Espai Natura», organitzada pel departament de Gestió Responsable del Territori que acull panells descriptius sobre el Pativel i l’Anella Verda.
Finalment, l'»Espai audiovisual» on es projectaran diversos clips sobre Gandia, la seua oferta turística, ambiental i patrimonial. Un recorregut en imatges al voltant de tot el que la nostra ciutat pot aportar als visitants perquè Gandia és molt més que sol i platja.
Sobre l’edifici Baladre
L’edifici s’integra en l’entorn, on es podran realitzar activitats a l’aire lliure, una vegada finalitzades les obres d’adequació de la zona.
Les actuacions van començar el novembre de 2014, però van estar paralitzades durant mesos per problemes administratius relacionats amb modificats del projecte i pels impagaments del govern autonòmic del PP cap a la constructora.
El nou executiu local ha aconseguit que es reprengués l’obra, que es finança amb fons autonòmics del Pla Confiança. El projecte té un cost global d’1,9 milions d’euros, sufragat íntegrament per la Conselleria d’Obres Públiques. D’aquesta xifra, 1,35 milions d’euros es corresponen amb l’edifici, i la resta, amb les obres de l’entorn i els accessos a l’immoble.
A l’edifici, amb una capacitat per a mil persones, es podran celebrar actes multitudinaris, congressos, activitats d’oci, formatives o culturals. Una infraestructura molt demandada, sobretot pel sector turístic i que es presenta com una gran oportunitat que ajudarà a desestacionalitzar el turisme i que millorarà l’oferta hotelera i d’oci tant a l’estiu com fora de temporada estival en potenciar el turisme de congressos.
Un turisme congressual que es caracteritza pel seu alt poder adquisitiu (la despesa mitjana triplica el del turista de sol i platja) i que es desenvolupa entre els mesos de novembre a març.
