Gandia, 17 d’octubre de 2018.- La vicealcaldessa i regidora de Diversitat, Lorena Milvaques, l’edil de Responsabilitat Social, Nahuel González i el representant de l’associació Policroma, David López, han presentat aquest matí la programació del Festival Mostra’t Gandia 2018, que tindrà lloc del 19 al 21 d’octubre, al Palau Ducal dels Borja (19) i al Teatre Serrano (20 i 21). Durant tres dies s’hi mostraran els semifinalistes i es donaran a conèixer els guanyadors del II Concurs Mostra’t Gandia, organitzat per l’associació Policroma i www.comunitatgay.com, amb el suport de les regidories de Diversitat i Responsabilitat Social de l’Ajuntament de Gandia.
Un certamen que naix per donar visibilitat i mostrar la realitat, a través de la cultura, de qualsevol minoria de la ciutat que puga patir una situació d’injustícia per la seua condició o orientació sexual, llengua, cultura, religió, diversitat funcional, etc… El 31 de juliol passat va finalitzar el termini per tal de presentar les obres a les quatre categories proposades: fotografia, curtmetratge, relat curt i còmic.
“L’objectiu principal és generar cultura i fomentar la igualtat en la diversitat. Donar visibilitat a qualsevol minoria de la nostra ciutat”, ha explicat Milvaques, qui ha aprofitat la seua última participació en el Mostra’t com a regidora per agrair als organitzadors, Daniel Ardid i David López, el seu treball per acabar amb els estereotips o l’estigmatització que puga dur a qualsevol col•lectiu a una situació d’injustícia. “També vull fer un prec a Poliqroma, perquè continuen en el seu afany i a les futures corporacions, amb independència del color polític, perquè donen continuïtat a aquest magnífic projecte”.
Per la seua banda, González ha fet una crida a la participació de la ciutadania i ha destacat “la transversalitat del festival, que partint de la diversitat lgtbi ha estès la proposta a totes les minories socials de la ciutat. Com diu el seu lema: Fem de les minories una gran majoria”.
Programa del festival
El representant de l’Associació Poliqroma ha agraït el suport de l’Ajuntament de Gandia i d’altres entitats col•laboradores i patrocinadors com el Palau Ducal dels Borja, Mundo LGBT, Angels Vision, comunitatgay.com o Dret a Ser Associació. “El Mostra’t és també una oportunitat per a molts artistes locals o novells de donar-se a conèixer”.
Així, el divendres 19 d’octubre, a les 19 hores, al Palau Ducal dels Borja tindrà lloc la lectura dels 9 relats semifinalistes (4 locals) i la inauguració de l’exposició amb els semifinalistes en categoria de còmic (8), fotografia (30, 10 d’autors locals), a més dels 8 cartells dels curts semifinalistes i 2 documentals.
El dissabte 20 d’octubre, a les 19 h, al Teatre Serrano serà el torn per a la projecció dels curtmetratges semifinalistes.
Com a novetat, el públic assistent a les dues sessions anteriors podrà votar la seua obra favorita i s’hi sortejarà un regal entre ells.
Finalment, el diumenge 21 d’octubre a les 19 h, al Teatre Serrano, tindrà lloc la Gala de Lliurament dels Premis Mostra’t Gandia 2018. La dotació econòmica dels premis, a càrrec de l’Ajuntament, serà de 600 €. El primer premi dels curtmetratges rebrà 300 €, mentre que les persones guanyadores de les altres tres categories rebran 100 € cadascuna. Hi haurà dues mencions especials, a les associacions i al millor documental. I un premi del públic a la millor obra de cadascuna de les seccions.
