Gandia 7 de maig 2019.- La Casa de la Marquesa va acollir ahir l’acte de presentació de la 45 edició del Concurs Internacional Fideuà de Gandia. Hi van assistir l’alcaldessa de Gandia, Diana Morant; Francesc Colomer, secretari autonòmic de Turisme; el president de l’Associació organitzadora, Avelino Alfaro, així com representants del consistori, empresaris i membres de l’Associació Gastronòmica Fideuà de Gandia.

Durant la seua intervenció, Francesc Colomer va voler destacar que «un projecte com aquest és una carrera de relleus i sempre hem de tindre la convicció que el millor està per vindre» «Hem de buscar l’excel•lència i la qualitat. Hem de coordinar-nos i cooperar per desenvolupar processos d’intel•ligència compartida per sobre de la cobdícia i l’egoisme» i afegia que «la gent que es dedica a la cuina, a la gastronomia, renúncia a molts aspectes de la seua vida. Quan tots estan de festa, la gent de l’hostaleria se sacrifica. Hem de reconéixer-vos socialment com un gran motor econòmic però també com un factor de recuperació dels nostres valors».
Colomer va finalitzar el seu discurs agraint a tots els que han fet possible que aquestes 45 edicions «hagen estat una realitat per fer valdre la nostra gastronomia davant la societat».
Per la seua banda, Avelino Alfaro, va destacar que al llarg de l’any, s’organitzen degustacions per remarcar el nostre plat insígnia. «Hem de gaudir de la cuina que realitzem i de la fideuà. Tinc l’honor de cuinar i donar a conéixer la fideuà en molts llocs i de conéixer a molta gent que reconeix el nostre treball»
Finalment, Diana Morant, ha qualificat el concurs com un «fita per a la nostra ciutat» i va felicitar a tota la família de la fideuà i al sector «per la il•lusió que poseu cada dia quan serviu el nostre plat típic i per l’hospitalitat que us caracteritza».
«La fideuà és el relat de la nostra història. És la nostra essència i és el mar que ens envolta. La gastronomia és un factor important a l’hora d’elaborar productes turístics de la qual podem presumir. Els visitants demanen cada vegada productes autèntics, volen conéixer el genuí del lloc que visiten i els hostalers i els cuiners sou els intèrprets del territori a través dels vostres plats».
La màxima responsable de la gestió Turística de Gandia ha destacat que s’ha signat l’adhesió de la nostra ciutat a la Xarxa Gastroturística de la Comunitat Valenciana i de la seua marca «L’exquisit Mediterrani». «Com a ciutat volem fomentar la gastronomia del nostre territori com a recurs turístic de primera ordre. És un element diferenciador i hem d’impulsar aquests sectors en tota la seua cadena de valor. Els agents públics i privats hem de connectar iniciatives que tinguen la qualitat i la innovació com a base per generar nous recursos turístics».
